I believe you confused the Alpha RT Kit and the Omni Kit. Thr omni kit is installed in gen1 and "Omni" CEDAs. It is a non-sealed full-length-compatible breech with red-colored parts. The Alpha RT Kit was sold as a standalone kit with clear and black-colored parts, and was pre-installed in the "Model S" CEDA.

Why do people say the ten round mags look goofy in these guns? If the mag was in front of the grip I bet people wouldnt say that.

I have one of the normal cedas. When I first got it, it’s omni-kit broke. I replaced it with an alpha kit. I think a lot of people have had problems with the original Ceda which I think Jet mostly fixed for the ceda model s. The blaster it’s self has loads of potential, just jet has not been able to find the best in terms recipe for it. That’s just my opinion and experience though, I know the opinion is somewhat controversial. Great review!!

So I'm now rewatching this in 2021 and I'm convinced that maybe the CEDA platform is just not for you. They require some TLC and know how to set them up so they function happily every time. Having four malfunctions in a row is proof that there's definitely something wrong with your blaster with the setup/could also be whatever you upgraded wasn't properly installed or tuned causing you those consecutive malfunctions in the firing test.

Nerf branded safety goggles/etc aren't safe for modified blasters, they aren't polycarbonate lenses or anything of the sort but they're plastic, even the rival face shields aren't rated as a protection device.

And I just finished watching a video from Project Farm about impacted rated safety glasses for use in the shop. Thanks for the good content.
